Mark Devers might be the smartest man I know of.
He has degrees from Cambridge and Oxford type places. Yale, Phd's etc.
But you know what the best thing I ever heard him say was?
Advice he gives to young pastors who want reformation and change brought out
in their churches,
"Preach, pray, persevere."
