This Johnny Cash video is unlike any I have ever seen. Most videos you see deal with glamour and glitz, beautiful women, and fast cars or at the very least, people who are depressed because they don't have these things or are in revenge mode against someone who tried to take these things away.
As you can see in the video, Cash is about to meet his maker and has soberly realized that in the end, everyone goes away and all that is left is an 'empire of dirt.' Very powerful imagery and message that we see so little of in film & hollywood today. Powerful.
Mar 8:36-37 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
