Two well-dressed ladies came to my door today. I was hoping that they were from a Baptist church in the nearby town but to my chagrin they started out with the famous, "Do you think the world is ever gonna get better?"I recognize this as the infamous starting point for Hell's greatest missionaries also known as JW's.
I usually shut them down and close the door but they were so pleasant, I talked with them.
I immediately brought up the fact that Jesus is God. They assured me that He is the Son of God but a completely separate person and that the Holy Spirit was not a person but the active force of God.
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the word was God." I recited to them as I prayed silently for God to give me the right words to say.
They didn't even respond to this verse, pulling out 1 Cor 14:26-28 to prove that they are separate people. I should have pressed them to explain John 1:1-14 to me.
So if a JW comes to your door, take them to the following Scriptures and press them with them.
