Exodus 20:4-5 "You shall not make for yourself a carved image--any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; 5 you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me."Does this command prohibit pictures of Jesus, crucifixes, stained glass pictures of Jesus, Pictures of Him in Sunday School curriculum etc.?
Why or why not?
Let me note the severity of the reason why we shouldn't violate this command (vs 5) and thus say that we need to get this right.

Actually, it is a 42’ tall statue of Jesus built out of fiberglass and styrofoam.
And you cannot serve in any ministry there unless "you have received the bapstism of the Holy Spirit." So I think that trumps any Old Covenant requirements.
